Hello Teerlink Family!!! Well it's been a while since there's been a post here so here we go. The Horn family is doing well. Homeschooling keeps us busy busy busy. Emily is finishing up her 3rd grade and Logan and Brett are both working on Kindergarden :) Logan is so excited he is learning to read. Brett is only 4 so he is keeping up pretty good but we may have to repeat some things for him as he gets older.

Aaron & Crystal are moving up in the technology world. They just got them a computer and should have internet soon so we'll be expecting some contact from them right? I look forward to seeing some more pictures from you my ever so distant family!

Summer Fun

Well it sure has been hot the last few days. We finally got our heat wave in August. I'm not complaining at all, we've had a nice summer. It's not been hotter than 95 so far. That's not including humidity but still we've been blessed. We've had tons of rain so everything is still pretty and green. We took the kids on their first camping trip last week end. They had lots of fun sleeping in the tent, roasting marshmallow's and swimming in the river.

Blackberries & Babies

The last few weeks we've been picking blackberries. We got three gallons on this day and the kids are proud as you can see. I've been canning blackberries all night!

Here's some pictures from our latest adventure. The weather has been NASTY but we were able to get out of the house last week and go bowling with another group of Homeschoolers. The kids had so much fun and since we went with a big group it was only $6 for them to bowl for 2 hours!!! You can't beat that price. This was the first time bowling for the kids but Emily won on her side. Brett won on his but I think that's cause I was helping him :p

Well for those of you that don't know, we at the Daugherty house must have drank some of Kristie Sue's "BABY WATER!" We are due in September, around the 13th ! Not alot is going on around here just alot alot alot of snow! After all the snow melts there is alot alot alot of MUD! That means there is not alot to do in Missouri. We used to go and see Kristie alot but the weather has kept us home and we SURE DO MISS YOU SISTER! By the way I think dad needs some help with his pictures! Look at me I'm a pro. I have two little visitors this afternoon. My nieces Macy and Mattie! They've had lunch, a snack, played, did PE with my kids for homeschool and now after story time they're all sleeping peacefully while Emily finishes some History. I wouldn't trade this for anything :)

WOW !!!!!!!!!!! It has been a long time since I have been on here! I did not think I had missed much but it looks like I have ! Well every thing is OK here. Mike is back to work again and the kids love that we are not on the go all the time! It is nice to be a stay at home mom again. We went to see grandpa yesterday and we helped him walk to the cafeteria. It was fun Kristie Sue brought her guitar and played us some tunes before he had to go eat! Then we all walked behind him there was all five of our kids and it was like a parade. Grandpa did not seem to mind so that was good and the kids had fun! Well I have to go Mike is ready to head to the house!

On December 18th, 2007 the angels stopped by and dropped off a little package at our house. He was 21 and a half inches tall and weighed 9 pounds, 15 ounces when he was born. (we'll enroll him in 1st grade next week.) We named him Robert Layne Zitting. We're very grateful to have him here safe and sound.

Logan Turns 5!!!

Logan's birthday was actually September 30th. I'm a little slow getting around and getting this on here but I wanted to share it with everyone. As you can see in the video below Logan was excited about his very first pocket knife.... Me and Chris were dumb enough to think he wouldn't get it open. He ended up cutting his finger pretty good. We bandaged him up and he took his knife to church to show everyone. It was so cute how proud he was of his knife. He wouldn't let anyone touch it though because he said "It's dangerous, it will cut you!" then he would show off his wound. We had to tell him it was ok to let some of the grown men open it up and check it out. He didn't want anyone to get hurt.

WOW! I cant believe how much our family has grown! It is so nice to see all the pictures of everyone. It has been so crazy here in Oklahoma that I finally had to just make the time to get on here and write! Lots has been going on here. Macy started school last month and is learning so so so so much! She can say the whole Pledge of Allegiance by herself! She is learning fire safety and lots of other neat stuff! They have a really cute saying when they brush their teeth to remind them not to use to much toothpaste and its " A dropa do ya" ! She really likes the three year old program! She likes that she gets to ride the little kids bus back to daycare, she thinks that is some neat stuff! Mattie is getting so so big! She is doing pretty good on her ABC's and she can count to three better than I can now! She does not wear shoes EVER! Keeping shoes on that kid is worse than pulling teeth! Mike has a new toy, I don't like it all that well but he loves it! I think it is a Honda but I'm not sure! It is one of those Crotch Rocket bikes! It is bright RED and goes way to fast! Macy and Mattie like it to. I don't like it at all! It makes me nervous. As for me everything is the same. I work a few more hours now at the quarry and that has made it to where I have learned to use my crock pot! There are lots of neat things you can do with a crock pot! Tonight is only the second night to try it. So hopefully dinner will be good! Tonight we should end up with Spaghetti (Hopefully) ! Well I gotta get to work !
